The Shakespeare play Macbeth is filled with death after bloody death, and as we have read, Macbeth does end up dead, even though he assumed he was invincible, however, did he die? Macbeth, in a way, is just a concept of lust, greed, and desire, and the idea itself is not dead, thus "Macbeth" is not dead either since everyday there is someone who will go to an extreme to get what they want. However, is that bad? Macbeth in the play was shown as a corrupt man, trying to succeed by taking down everyone on the way, but could he have done it in ways that would be more honorable? Here is the thing with Macbeth and his way of taking control, there was no reason for him not want it, he is human who lives in a system in which moving on up is so rare, a chance to do is should be pounced on. What makes this tale timeless is that he did it the way most people go about and succeed in life, by taking down others, and we do this intentionally and unintentionally. College grants is a great example for this, some people would honestly kill for it, while others will work harder for it. In all honesty, there are a little of Macbeth in everyone, and that is not bad because we all have a little of desire in every one of us, that is what classify us as humans.
I find your version of Macbeth still being alive quite interesting. I haven't thought of Macbeth as an idea, just as a person. I agree with you on the fact that Macbethish acts are still around. Interesting twist to Macbeth's 'death'.
