My name is edwin serpas (I spell it with no caps at all), and
I am a student at Whitney Young, the school I’ve wanted to get into since sixth
grade. Writing is something that is important to me, so much that when I can’t
seem to form words at all, I start to panic and just type words that seem to
make sense together. Through writing I
learned how to touch type as well as to hand write entire assignments while not
even looking at the paper, well so long as it’s specifically on a college ruled
notebook. At the same time, I also love
to draw, even though I’m not the greatest at it. One summer ago, I spent every
night sketching and drawing characters for a comic I originally had, but I
abandoned the project when I reviewed my original storyline and just didn’t
like it at all. Now I’m trying to bring back the idea of doing a web-comic, but
with an entirely different story with different characters. Hopefully the idea
goes somewhere and doesn’t end up in purgatory just like the other. I tend to
be hard on myself, but that’s because I only want to be the best I can be. One day I hope to write a novel and hope that
at least one person likes my story.
